Islam di Sunda, Sumebar Dua Abad Méméh Wali Sanga

“Tina naskah-naskah kuna bisa dicindekeun agama Islam saenyana geus sumebar di tatar Sunda jauh saméméh Déwan Salapan aya,” ceuk Undang Darsa, M. Abad ka-15, kira-kira taun 1416 Maséhi, di Tanjungpura (Karawang) badarat ulama ti Campa (Viétnam), Syéh Hasanudin nu tadina milu ka rombongan armada Cina nu dipingpin ku Laksamana Chéng Ho. Di Karawang, Syéh Hasanudin nu katelah ku julukan Syéh Quro ngadegkeun pasantrén.

Dina waktu nu sajaman, di Pasambangan, Amparanjati, deukeut Palabuan Muarajati (Cirebon) mukim Syéh Datuk Kahfi. Sarua ngadegkeun pasantrén jeung nyebarkeun agama Islam. Taun 1470 Maséhi, Syéh Syarif Hidayatullah, nu ceuk sajarah lokal masih kénéh katurunan raja Sunda, nu lahir di Mesir, dumuk di Cirebon.

    Mungkin wae aya benerna, kusabab teori ngeunaan sumebarna Islam ka nusantara teh henteu tunggal alias rupa-rupa. Kudu dibedakeun antara asupna Islam nyaeta hiji dua muslim nu geus ngagem agama Islam jeung sumebarna Islam. Nu kahiji mah sipatna indipidual, nu kadua mah sosial, gerakan. Tah dewan salapan teh nalika geus jadi gerakan massal dicirikeun ku ayana karajaan Cirebon. Mangkana oge sipatna dakwah jeung politik. Jadi, sabenerna teu aneh pamanggih kang Undang Darsa teh, ngan nguatkeun teori nu aya anu salami ieu ku kuring diajarkeun ka mahasiswa jurusan sejarah Islam UIN Bandung.

    Komo mun urang asup kana bahasan leuwih imeut ngeunaan asupna Islam di nusantara, kaasup ka tatar Sunda. Teori asupna Islam teh kudu dibahas ngeunaan tokoh jalmana (indipidu ulama) nu rea, waktuna nu beda-beda, tempatna oge nu loba. Jadi, salami ieu can aya nu pang mutlakna jandi teori nu pageuh.
